Value, by today’s standards, is a broad discussion.
In modern culture, terms like “high value man” and “high value woman” get thrown around aimlessly without any real meaning behind them.
Peoples subjective opinions simply determine what they believe to be valuable or not.
Objectively speaking, value is defined as the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.
Value is something that is created with the intention of benefiting others.
In order to be a person of value, we must operate in a manner to that allows us to be useful to others.
As a man, our value is determined by how useful we are in the marketplace.
The skills and knowledge we acquire allows us to position ourselves to be useful to others.
Our role as men is to be able to bring value to the marketplace and solve problems.
The more efficient we are at solving problems, the more value we have to offer others.
It is important to note is the intention behind our quest to become useful needs to be genuine.
If our intention of becoming a high performer or a master problem solver is to solely satisfy our own ego, then how much value are we really bringing other people?
We could run the largest corporation in the world, but if we treat others with a genuine lack of respect, then maybe one could argue that we are not as valuable as we like to think that we are, regardless of financial status.
When it comes to our relationships with others, we have to think in terms of how useful we can be for the people around us.
As a boyfriend or girlfriend, a husband or wife, a father or mother, or even the leader of a company, our responsibility is to provide as much value to those around us as possible.
This means treating others with the utmost respect and making a genuine effort to understand and inspire them.
Nobody is born with their value, not even women, regardless of what personalities might try and convince you of on social media.
Our value is earned through our diligent efforts to be useful to others.
As men, we have endless amounts of value that we can add to the lives of our families and loved ones if we are willing to walk through fire to acquire useful skills and knowledge.
Women have endless amounts value they can add to their families and loved ones by making the conscious efforts to fully support those that rely on them.
Becoming a person of value may seem like a selfish task because we must be able to work on building ourselves into becoming useful.
The intention behind these actions however, makes all of the difference.
If we are motivated solely to satisfy our own ego, then our value is limited.
However, if we are motivated to build ourselves to help those around us, our value becomes limitless.
