A common question I often ask myself when faced with having to make a decision is: “is it worth it?”
When it comes to making important decisions in life, we have to be able to ask ourselves if it is actually worth it.
Does this thing in question serve your purpose?
Is the thing in question worth your time?
Many times, it is easy for our minds to get crowded with useless information.
In other words, most of the things on our minds just take up space.
Unless we have clear focus on some sort of greater purpose, everything else naturally becomes a waste of time.
If things outside of our control are constantly on our minds, then we can confidently say it isn’t worth it.
If we are faced with having to make an important decision and it is not aligned with our purpose, then we can confidently say that it also isn’t worth it.
What is worth it are things that build strong moral character, confidence, self-respect, and things that keep us accountable.
