Clarity Vs. Confusion

Clarity Vs. Confusion

Confusion is a natural phenomenon of the human experience.

We often struggle to make sense of things that do not go as we planned.

We might think something along the lines of “why did this have to happen?”

While we might not have all of the answers as soon as we want them, it doesn’t mean we will never find the answer we are looking for.

Confusion is a reactive response to some form of undesired outcome.

When things don’t go as we had hoped, this confusion can bring about feelings of anxiety and sometimes even panic.

The more anxious we become, the more reactive our thoughts and behavior naturally becomes.

Our ability to make clear rational thought becomes muffled when in a reactive state of mind.

It seems as though clarity on the matter is nowhere to be seen and this can further exacerbate our anxiousness until we find ourselves in a mental and emotional downwards spiral.

The answers we are looking for are there, but these answers don’t usually come until we are able to clear our minds and fully dissect the problems we are facing.

Most are aware of the phrase “time heals all”, and the reason for this is because in time, our ability to look back on things that didn’t make sense in the moment become more clear.

In time, what was once confusion becomes clarity.

When we are able to fully separate ourselves from our feelings, we are then able to think clearly about what we were going through in times of confusion and uncertainty.

The answers are almost never there when we want them, but it doesn’t mean that they aren’t there at all.

Having a genuine sense of understanding between logic and emotion is an understanding of fundamental laws of human nature.

We are meant to experience feelings of all sorts, and part of life is being able to find the balance between our feelings and our purpose.

Through our own conscious efforts, we can better equip ourselves for when feelings of confusion arise so that we can remain true to our purpose in life and help as many people along the way.
